Photography Day Ten... Full of Nifty Goodness...

This may seem incredibly silly but the item I chose for today's picture (something sentimental) are mine and Nancy's notebooks from high school. I have had my ups and downs in life, but Nancy has always been right there when I needed her. She has been the best friend I have ever had and I thank her from the bottom of my heart. We started these notebooks freshman year and continued through college. (There is a break in the notebooks from when we weren't friends, which was totally my fault. Another reason Nancy is such a great friend for accepting my apology and being friends with me again. Not that many people are understanding) We named each one of our notebooks (full of nifty goodness, for the love of notebook, the essence of notebook, and the notebook of DOOM -The College Years-) . They are full of random notes, sayings, guy lists, silly pictures, and random moments that make us wonder what we were on back in those days. These notebooks are something that I will always cherish and hold dear to my heart because if I am ever having a bad day I can whip those notebooks out, flip through the pages, and immediately feel a smile spread across my face. Those notebooks are going into my final will and testament.

They are awesome.

And definitely full of...

...nifty goodness.

Day Ten... (Fall Asleep)

Once again any Brooks and Dunn song will make me fall asleep if need be, but the song I use most to fall asleep is "Quicksand" by Bethany Joy Galeotti. I have that song on every musical device I own, but I most commonly listen to it on my phone so I can have it right  near my face on listen to it on repeat. Her voice is amazing and the song itself is beautiful and soothing.

Day Ten... (Messed up)

I have gotten rid of all of my friends. It's sad sometimes, but in the end it was definitely the better choice. I used to do a lot of crazy and mostly illegal things. I basically lived the rock star life of sex, drugs, and rock n' roll. I have probably met every police officer in Santa Clara County, (I have NEVER been arrested nor do I have any sort of record expunged or otherwise), and with where I want to end up in life, the choices I was making just weren't working for me. The person I did the most messed up things with was Jonny. Hands down. Ever since he has left my life I no longer get into trouble of any kind, I no longer meet law enforcement officers for being in trouble, and everything I do is legal (except for maybe downloading music illegally every now and then). I miss the way my life used to be, I miss the parties and the excitement and never knowing what was going to happen from one minute to the next, but I for sure as hell am glad that I got away from all of that shit. No one thought that I could do it. No one wanted me to do it. I used to be a good person and I'm so glad that I found my true self again.
